Mama D Uganda sets insane cooking Guinness World Record 2023

Uganda’s best chef Dorcus Bashema Kirabo popularly known as Mama D has set a new cooking Guinness world record 2023 for the longest cooking hours reaching beyond 120 hours and 30 minutes mark. Previously, Alan Fisher had the record set at 119 hours and 57 minutes but thanks to Mama D who is now the new record holder of the longest Cooking hours according to the Guinness Book of Records. .

For starters, Irish chef Alan Fisher who currently held this record cooked for 119 hours, 57 minutes and 16 seconds. Additionally he arrived at this this when he cooked from 28th September to 3rd October 2023 in Japan, thus beating Nigeria’s Hilda Baci’s world record.

A lot has been said on different social media platforms for instance many Ugandans criticized her for wasting time while others who are into the cooking niche applauded her for the fantastic job she was up to. However, it seems those who criticized Mama D have now all congratulated her for lifting the Ugandan Flag and holding the world record.

Mama D who has been cooking since 10th December 2023 has now become the new Guinness World Record holder for the longest individual cooking time.

“The world record has been matched and broken. 119 hours and 57 minutes on the Clock and still counting. Mama D has transcended being an ordinary Ugandan she has etched her name into the pages reserved only for the greatest,” photo journalist Baron Edgar Hamala announced.
