I have no power to rate someone’s work – Mudra on Eddy Kenzo’s music

Mudra D Viral real name Ssebunya Alfa a songwriter, recording artist, singer and producer signed under DCM Empire revealed on how he has no power rating someone’s work when he was asked about his opinion on Eddy Kenzo‘s Born in Africa cover in an interview with Galaxy FM presenter Prim Asimwe.

The Balabalo singer who came to popularity with his hit single Muyayu which was named one of the biggest songs of 2020 said Kenzo did the song the way he could so all was upon him because he invest in himself when it comes to music. He added that critics have to always be there .

He says he sang according him so if he didn’t please the critics they shouldn’t have paid attention to the song. Mudra said the very people critizing Kenzo’s music are the very ones that pushed him higher to winning all the big awards his having.

“I think he redid the song the way he could, that’s upon him because it’s him investing money in his music. He sang according to him, if he didn’t please you leave it. I have no power to rate someone’s work.

He on that said that Kenzo has been in the industry for more 10 years and it’s the people that critize him that have been from day one listening to his music and getting him higher.
