Ugandan popular media personality Edwin Katamba, popularly known as MC Kats has furiously blasted Ugandan artists live on camera. According to the king of the mic, he revealed that most the artists from the pearl of Africa are very poor and only survive by God’s mercy. However, much the singer has managed a couple of artists, he rants that he has never ever made any profits from Ugandan artists, instead he ends up making losses and creating enemies.
The NBS TV presenter has managed Victor Ruz, Fille etc but still he claims that he hasn’t made any dollars out of them. Additionally, he revealed to Naster Ug that most the artists in the industry can not facilitate themselves for a month yet they want to have an expensive lifestyle.
“I have always told people that I’ve never made sensible money from these Ugandan musicians because they also don’t have it. I have invested lots of money in most of them but honestly speaking, there is nothing I have got in return. Many people think that I benefit much from managing artists but instead its me who ends up making losses. Therefore, my humble request to artists in the country is that they should always respect people who invest their time and money to better their careers, ” MC Kats said in an interview with a local television
