Ugandan upcoming singer Nakawombe Norah Mariza Prisica popularly known by stage name Fresh Jajja has threatened to quit music and Eddy Kenzo‘s Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF). The Gunsitudde singer has revealed why she stopped releasing hit songs for her fans across the country.
While speaking to Naster Ug, Fresh Jajja showed interest in having a collaboration with popular female singer Rema Namakula before she quits music. Additionally, she confirmed that she has never had any interest in having a collaboration with any male singer though her fans demand for a collaboration with Fresh Daddy.
“I am about to quit music because I am too old to compete with the new generation of artists. Additionally, I thought by joining the Federation, my career would be at peace but I have failed to really understand the intentions of the UNMF. This therefore means that I might leave very soon since I have a lot to focus on.
My management is really working so hard to ensure that I release good music in 2024. However, I think it is time up for me to dump the microphone for the new generation. Hmm, before I let it all go, I wish to have a collaboration with singer Rema Namakula because she is my GOAT (Greatest Of All Time),” Fresh Jajja said.
