Betty Nakibuuka, mother to Ugandan gospel artist Gloria Mulungi Senyonjo, popularly known by stage name Baby Gloria has trashed the pregnancy hurtful rumors surrounding her daughter. While addressing the media, Baby Gloria’s mother showed her disappointment in the media for heavily criticizing her daughter.
According to her, she revealed that her daughter was depressed when different media houses ran a story alleging that Baby Gloria had become pregnant. Additionally, these added more salt to the wound when they claimed that she was then flown to the United States of America for an abortion.
Betty Nakibuuka immediately trashed these false rumors revealing to the media that her daughter is a virgin and therefore she had never been pregnant. Additionally, she noted that she doesn’t have the financial muscle to fly her daughter out to perform such a stannic act of abortion.
“It really hurt me when the media pointed fingers at my daughter alleging that she had become pregnant. She was depressed and I did my job as a mother to calm the situation down however, these kind of false rumors ruin peoples’ lives. Those were false allegations, and I can tell you I am raising a virgin daughter who is fully concentrating on school,” Betty Nakibuuka said.
