Bobi Wine born Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu has through a chaired meeting of the NUP artistes in Uganda praised them for being heroes of the country.
He said this a while ago after Ugandan so called big artistes formed a Federation called the Uganda Musicians Federation where Eddy Kenzo was elected as the president and Sheebah Karungi as the vice president.
In the establishment of this federation, many artistes where left out particularly those that are alleged to be part of the NUP party, with reasons not unveiled.
While in the meeting yesterday, Bobi Wine praised all the artistes that gathered up for a meeting with him on that thanked them for being heroes of this great nation where many people are easily driven and mislead after being promised lots of money.
However, a few artistes that didn’t join the federation claim that it’s establishment wasn’t to help artistes and the entertainment industry as claimed but rather for individual benefits.
