UCC Reacts to Zahara Totto & Shamim Mayanja chicken clash
Actress Zubeda Byantalo, popularly known by stage name Shamim Mayanja has been involved in a chicken clash with NBS TV's UNCUT presenter Nalumansi Zahara, addressed professionally as Zahara Totto. The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) Executive Director Eng. Irene Kaggwa immediately has ordered an investigation into a clash between two media personalities.
“I am roping in our sister agency (Uganda Media Council) which regulates the conduct and promotes good ethical standards and discipline of journalists,” Irene Kaggwa said.
During the UNCUT show on Sanyuka TV on Monday, Zahara Totto trashed & disrespected Shamim Mayanja LIVE on TV something that left many viewers in suspense mode. Zahara Totto abused Mayanja’s attire, describing her headscarf as “rugs”.
