Former assistant Inspector General Asan Kasingye has opened up about the corruption in the police department. He said that it is very understandable when people say that police is corrupt although most of them are very good, only a few a corrupt. During his time in office, Asan Kasingye said he used to fight against corruption in police but the department is very big. He did his job so well and resigned on good terms. He said that he used to educate the young officers on the importance of being truthful to themselves and avoiding acts that can jeopardise their work.
