Melody – I am proud to be Jose Chameleone’s back-up artist

Faded singer Kakooza Manson, popularly known by stage name Melody has revealed why many Ugandans have not appreciated his music. According to the Nkoleki singer, he believes that a few Ugandans enjoy his music while the biggest portion of Ugandans don’t take him serious in the music business.

The singer is widely known for his song “Nkoleki,” hit song in which he featured Dr. Jose Chameleone. However, he has since failed to release another hit to follow up on that success. This is because many believe Jose Chameleone’s brand overshadowed his name and with that said, it will hard for him to come back.

Melody also pointed out that he is very proud to be the Leone Island’s boss backup singer. He is comfortable with this and is no longer interested in pursuing a solo music career.

“I am very comfortable being Jose Chameleon’s backup artist, and I don’t mind what other people say because there are many who would want to be in that position but don’t have the opportunity. I was groomed that way,” he said in an interview with a local television station.

Melody also added that most Ugandan musicians are broke, unlike him, as he is able to provide for himself.
