Songstress Nina Roz has today officially joined Bobi Wine political party National Unity Platform (NUP) .
She is over the moon as she is eyeing one of the parliament seat especially Sembabule woman MP in 2026.
Different musicians have showed interests in becoming members of parliament but most of them end up not going through. Those that were expecting cards from NUP and didn’t get them were angry.
For Nina Roz she is lucky that she was welcomed by the Party President, Bobi Wine who called upon artists to join the struggle to change the country’s future adding that at first doctors, soldiers, politicians where the ones trying to save the country but now its the turn for musicians thus they should not give up.
Nina Roz is confident that with the support of Bobiwine and determination she can make it to parliament.
It should be noted that Mary Begumisa of NRM party is the current woman member of parliament of Sebabule after being elected during the 2021 Uganda general elections.
Then coming of a popular singer Nina Roz has however put her in panic mode its not clear if she will bribe her so that she abandons the move.
Nina has already returned to school to add on her education level.
