Talented singer Ronald Mayinja has revealed why young upcoming musicians need to be empowered in this generation.
He said it is easily to have a hit song and gain fame but the hard part is when it comes to maintaining that successful career that an artiste has got in his career.
Mayinja has been in the music industry for more than 20 years and he is still doing well musically.
He doesn’t release new songs like the young musicians but with his old music he still gets bookings and even does concerts that people show up to support.
According to the singer, young musicians need to understand that a successful music career is not just about a hit song. It needs planning on what a person can do after that song.
Mayinja said that some musicians start bragging after getting hit songs not knowing that it is just the beginning of a career. It needs more than that to to be a successful musicians.
He also talked about the other older musicians and the community to empower the young genera of artistes in order to keep the music industry moving forward.
