Mikie Wine Postpones Concert, Blames It On Anti Corruption Protests

Singer Mikie Wine a young brother to National Unity Platform (NUP) president Bobi Wine has come out and postponed his upcoming concert.

He blamed it on anti – corruption protests saying he needs to join Ugandans in that cause which makes him lack enough time to promote his concert.

The concert was supposed to happen in September but unfortunately it was set on the same date as Gravity Omutujju’s concert. He announced his first but Omutujju didn’t fear to announce his.

As other people are saying that is the reason, Mikie Wine refutes it saying he wants to be in a peaceful protest of Ugandans airily the traders that was meant to start yesterday.

He said he hopes his fans understand him as he is waiting for the right time to have his own concert in the right time.

“Good morning UGANDA Sorry for the Short Notice but I have learned about the Peaceful Protest of Our fellow Ugandans(Traders) starting Today and yet I believe These are the same people who Support us as Musicians to attend our shows, we are still on the same Move of Fighting CORRUPTION in our Country I can’t be on TV Smiling advertising my Business yet my supporters/Fans are crying So With Immediate effect I have decided to postpone my Press Conference that was scheduled today at 5pm Till further Notice.Am sorry for those that have hurt But First Things First,UGANDA FIRST
…….STOP CORRUPTION,”
