Famous Mcee and events promoter MC Ollo has quit NTV Uganda less than year of being employed.
He joined the station after resigning from NBS television where he had worked for more than three years.
MC Ollo is very talented and creative that any television station would want to hire him at some point. It is up to him to make a decision whether he wants to be hired or not.
When he joined NTV he was happy but he has also announced his departure saying he has got better opportunities and he has left with one of his segments in the show Kilomo.
Here is his full statement;
Farewell to NTV; Resignation Announcement
After much thought and consideration, I’ve decided to step down from my role at NTV and NTV T Nation. These past 7 months have been nothing short of incredible, and I’ve had the privilege of activating in over 150 schools, connecting with countless young people, significantly increasing the show’s viewership and revenue streams. I’m deeply thankful for the opportunity and experience gained.
Earlier this year, I joined NTV after leaving NBS TV, where I was hosting Youth Voice (and let’s be honest, the show has never been the same without me! 😂). It has been an amazing journey, but the time has come to move on.
My departure is not due to any negative experiences—on the contrary, it has been an amazing journey. However, my passion for empowering and uplifting young people has led me to take this step. This is not an end but a new beginning, and I’ll soon be sharing my next move, which I promise will be an even bigger deal for the youth.
Please note that Kiromo will also no longer be a part of NTV. I’ll be managing it independently moving forward. Any queries regarding Kiromo events and projects should be directed to our offices or via email at Kiromoteenzug@gmail.com or ostanley63@gmail.com.
Thank you all for your support and love. The journey continues!
