Legendary female musician Mariam Ndagire has cautioned celebrities that are joining politics.
She said that it is a lot of responsibility that they should know that they are taking on and should know that it is not easy as they think.
Mariam Ndagire is one of the few celebrities that should have joined politics if she wanted too. But she seems not to be interested in being political at all knowing tnt cost it carries.
Mariam Ndagire said that some celebrities when they think about politics all they think about is how to make more money than they have been making.
She said that it is beyond that, people who vote for you expect you to work for them and deliver.
The singer said artistes especially those than join politics need to know that nothing comes for free they will have to pay a price at some point .
Talented Mariam Ndagire asked celebrities to do something that they are comfortable with not something that they see other people doing and also feel like doing by themselves.
“People just join politics just to say that it is an easy way to make money. It doesn’t work like that, once once joins politics they need to know that someone has to be responsible for it. People vote for you to work for them not to eat money and become rich ,”
