In Uganda doing music is one of most expensive businesses although some musicians go out of their way to make ends meet.
Male musicians usually find it hard to get managers yet they want to do music and they do whatever they can to do it.
Some artistes have been very open about where they get their money for music. Some say they have rich women that give them money while the others it is just a rumour.
Grenade Official is one of the musicians that has been very open about sugar mummies helping him out financially. He said that he doesn’t mind about being with any woman as long as they can provide and give him love.
Bruno K is another musician who has been exposed by a woman who is older than him. The sugar mummy and now baby mama said that she used to fund the life of the singer with even clothes.
Vyroota one of the youngest musicians has also talked about sugar mummies. He said that he has a management and those that claim he gets things from sugar mummies just want to tarnish his name.
Jovan Luzinda is also another musician who confessed to have had older women funding his life. He said that the only problem is that the money came with witchcraft attached to it.
