Sickly Kawempe North member of parliament Hon Ssegirinya Muhammad is not willing to give up his Kawempe North seat in the next ejections.
He said he is going to be contesting another time hoping that this time it will bog better as he has struggled with sickness and other problems in this term.
For sometime now rumours have been circulating how Waiswa Mufumbiro had been planing to contest as kawempe North mp in 2026 elections to replace the ailing ssegirinya.
But now after recovering from the strange sickness Member of Parliament for Kawempe North, Muhammad Segirinya alias Mr Update has announced his intention to run again in the upcoming 2026 elections come what may.
Ssegirinya says he hasn’t delivered what he wanted to do for the people because the government frustrated his efforts when he was arrested.
He now says that the residents of Kawempe North have asked him to come back and serve them for another term.
“My people of Kawempe North I will be contesting again in 2026. You know I can do better that just this time sickness disrupted my plans. Let no one deceive you I will be back better,”’
