Uganda’s most celebrated local radio presenters, now turned politician, Jacob Akuguzibwe, also commonly known as DJ Jacob Omutuuze recently accused UNMF president & singer Edrisa Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo of being “fake”. Additionally, he revealed to the public that his songs weren’t good enough to be put on his radio countdown show.
This annoyed Kenzo’s fans on different social media platforms, who then attacked DJ Jacob right away. DJ Jacob responded by branding Eddy Kenzo’s fans “negative” and narrow minded. According to him, he believes that he has a big hand on Kenzo’s musical journey though he doesn’t appreciate his efforts.
“When I used to promote your evil artist, how much did you pay me???? Stop bringing your negative vibes on my page. It’s a free world and your artist song can’t fit in our countdown. Years back I used to promote his music, did you force me????? Stop forcing fake songs on people and abusing me won’t change my stance,” DJ Jacob Omutuuze posted.
Their beef has now moved to the point where DJ Jacob has threatened to reveal some of Kenzo’s “best kept secrets” if he doesn’t stop his fans from attacking him.
In June, DJ Jacob revealed how his friendship with the big Talent boss ended. However, Kenzo for years named and praised him among the media personalities that believed in him as a budding talent years ago and gave him airplay.
