Dickson Ndiema the ex-boyfriend of Olympian Rebecca Cheptegei, has died in a hospital in Eldoret.
Dickson Ndiema who set Cheptegei on fire, also suffered severe burns and passed away following the incident.
Cheptegei was set on fire while coming from church and her neighbours couldn’t help her. The ex boyfriend who kept on pouring more petrol to her body also caught fire.
They were both rushed to the hospital and unfortunately Rebecca died first. Her father complained about Police not arresting the boyfriend who was in the hospital nursing his own injuries.
Dickson Ndiema was described as a bad and dangerous person to both the family of Rebecca and the children.
Unfortunately he has also passed away today morning while receiving treatment in the hospital.
His family hasn’t said anything about it and for Rebecca Cheptegei she will be burried on 14th September 2024 at her ancestral home.
