Sensational singer and president of musicians under the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) Cindy Sanyu has survived sleeping behind bars.
She was accused of fueling a bar brawl that left so much property damaged and some people injured.
The singer denied all the accusations saying she wasn’t among the people that were fighting that she wasn’t even near the fight.
Cindy is one of the most talented musicians in Uganda. She is usually perfoming at different bars and night clubs with her band. The fact that she has a good voice she takes advantage of that.
However on Sunday it wasn’t a good day for her as people started fighting at a bar she was perfoming at. Obviously she was taken among the people that were at the bar during the fight.
The singer was just lucky they there wasn’t enough evidence that pinned her to those that fueled he fight which left her to walk free out of the court with her lawyers.
She said that she is not surprised that people still fight but she understands that it is her job as an artiste and she can’t run away from it.
