Big Music Entertainment CEO Ibrahim Mayanja aka Big Eye Starboss has spoken for the first time ever since he met NUP’s Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine. The singer held a press conference where he he addressed a couple of matters but most importantly he congratulated the NUP fraternity for this milestone achievement in such a short period of time.
Big Eye has thanked Bobi Wine for giving a warm welcome to where he belongs and also thanked Ugandans for an amazing reception back into their hearts.
“Dear country men and women in Uganda and the diaspora ,
As you are already aware, on the 3 November 2023, the National Unity Platform under the leadership of H.E Robert Kyagulanyi officially opened its new Headquarters. I join all Ugandans to congratulate the NUP fraternity for this milestone achievement in such a short period of time .
At the commissioning ceremony of the party Headquarters, I was also formerly welcomed by the President to the people’s side. My decision was not an event but rather a well thought through process that took in consideration many factors including the possibility of facing the wrath of those with power. After all that I have gone through over the past few years , I could have opted to take the play safe decision or pretend to be neutral but nooooooo , I recalled the words of a great man Desmond Tutu:
“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality. “
I thank the President for having welcomed me where I belong. My life is back , I am thrilled with joy and happiness. I am having better night sleeps. The love and affection I have received since the day I was reintroduced to the world is overwhelming. Thank You fellow Ugandans for the excellent reception.
